Scheduling moves

We take great pride in maintaining our lobby and hallways. For this reason, and to reduce disruption to the other occupants, we have a policy on moves, deliveries and removals.

Moves, deliveries of large item and extraordinary garbage disposal are only permitted between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday, inclusively. These are not permitted to take place after hours, on weekends, or on public holidays, except with prior written permission.

Elevator reservation

Elevator reservation is required to be made with the property manager.  Our Superintendent will arrange to have the required padding installed and put the elevator “in service” for you.  Please only use the elevator put on service. A minimum of one-week’s notice is required to reserve the elevator. Please note that the elevator is only 7 feet tall. Keep this in mind when making a purchase or discussing renovations with contractors.

Building security

Additional building security is required anytime there is a move, a large item delivery or extraordinary garbage disposal. This additional security is at the owner’s cost. Management will contact you to make the required arrangements.

Security deposit and damage

Owners are entitled to one move in and one move out free of charge. All additional moves requiring the use of an elevator will be charged a $200 non-refundable fee per elevator reservation. The corporation will recover from the owner the full costs of any repairs or extra cleaning required as a result of a move, delivery or garbage removal. It is the owner’s responsibility to request inspection of the elevator and common element areas immediately prior to and following the move/delivery.
